RESERVATION DETAILS
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Guests must be 21 years of age or older with a valid government identification to reserve and to check-in to a guestroom at the main hotel. For the French Quarters, a guest must be 19 years of age with a valid government ID to reserve and to check in to a guestroom. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
CANCELLATION POLICY: For all NON-Festival, Special Events, or holiday reservations, cancel or modify reservations by 3:00 p.m. EST (local hotel time) at least 48 hours prior to arrival. If your reservation is not cancelled, you will be responsible for the entire stay.
For all festivals and holidays, guests must prepay in full for their entire stay. There is a 30-day cancelation policy.

ROOM KEYS
Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 18 at any time. A valid government issued photo identification is required if you have lost your key and require a duplicate. Please return all room keys to the Front Desk upon check-out. Any keys not returned upon departure will result in a $50 lost key charge.
DISCOUNTS
We offer discounts to Military, Seniors, Hanover College Alumni, Bikers, Bereaved Families, Repeat Guests, and Large Groups.
SMOKING
All guestrooms and suites at the Riverboat Inn & Suites are 100% non-smoking. A $250 cleaning fee (plus tax) will be applied for any evidence of smoking in guest rooms or suites upon departure. We are pleased to offer smoking areas outside of the hotel for guests’ convenience. Guest room damage will be applied to the form of payment on file, should any damage occur.
DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING
Damage to mattresses and linens including towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, tanning sprays, lotions, oils, etc. will result in a charge at 150% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges, for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT
Guest Rooms found with waste scattered around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to a $250 maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third-party fees. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or intentional, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
